OID Coded Books with Reading Pens for Publishers

Publishers and content owners need one accountable team for the whole bundle: OID code generation, coded-print specifications for the printer, audio file lists, graded-reader or fixed-title production, and pen-to-book matching — so every code on every page plays the right file.

Content Pipeline

How books and pens are produced as one system

1

Code map

OID codes generated for the book, flashcard or poster layout and mapped to audio file IDs.

2

Print specification

Coded-print guidance covers paper stock, dot size and print tolerances for reliable recognition.

3

Audio mastering

Audio files delivered or recorded to one agreed file list and naming convention.

4

Loading & pairing

Audio loaded to the pen build, then validated against printed pages across the code map.

5

Bundle packing

Pens, books and accessories co-packed or consolidated for retail or channel delivery.

Publisher FAQ

OID book program questions

Do you print the coded books or only supply pens?
Both can come from one program. OID-coded books, flashcards and posters are produced and paired with the pens; alternatively coded-print specifications are supplied for a nominated printer.
How do expanding book series work?
Models with external TF slots (K7, L5, B2 for classroom, T2) carry libraries that grow as new levels are published; each release gets its own code map and audio validation.
What protects a single licensed title?
The F8 uses soldered NAND flash with no card socket, so content cannot be swapped in the field — suited to high-volume single licensed programs.
We already own an OID 2.0 library — must we reprint?
No. The KF1 model maintains OID 2.0 continuity for existing libraries; new programs are typically built on OID 3.0.
Do you print the OID books, or do we use our own printer?
Both options work. We can deliver OID-encoded print-ready files for your accredited printer, or supply printed books as part of a pen-plus-book package, including proofing and dot-density verification.
